Geared toward home scale cultivators, these bags of grain spawn arrive fully colonized so that you can inoculate your chosen substrate with fresh, healthy mycelium. Comes in 3T type Unicorn Filter Patch bags and holds enough spawn to inoculate 6 or 12 Major's Mix substrate blocks and leaves enough left over to transfer to a fresh bag of sterilized grain via a grain-to-grain transfer so that your culture can run for another generation. Up to 6 generations can be made before the need to return to agar to avoid aging the culture into decline. Growing in this way ensures an easy and reliable supply of fresh mushrooms for you and yours to enjoy, year round.
If you are just getting started with mycology and cultivation you may prefer to skip some of the learning curve at first and order a Ready-to-Fruit Grow Kit instead of some of the more in depth materials like grain spawn. The kits arrive ready to grow mushrooms and come with everything you need to have success the first time around.
